When trouble shooting why the Windows devices not getting into Windows Analytics – you need to know where the data is stored in the device.
Here is some steps to troubleshooting:
- Check that you have used the right CSP – and the right data type
- ./Vendor/MSFT/DMClient/Provider/MS DM Server/CommercialID
Check that your CommercialID is the right one – check in http://mms.microsoft.com

- Check that telemetry is not disabled on the device
- Check that there is not a error while deploying the policy – both from the Intune side and the client side
- Check the right value in the local reg database

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\DataCollection]
“CommercialId”=”9a5792e6-416b-4498-a8ca-25bea20f0fb5”

Hej Per,
